Rana e Hedhun – Shëngjin

Located near the coastal town of Shëngjin, “Rana e Hedhun” (The Thrown Sand) is a unique natural wonder where sand dunes slide down from pine-covered hills straight into the sea. The beach is quiet and scenic, perfect for nature lovers and photographers. It’s easily reachable by car from Shëngjin center (about 5 minutes).

Tale Beach – Lezhë

A peaceful stretch of soft sand north of Lezha, Tale is ideal for families and those seeking calm waters. You can reach it by following the Lezhë–Shëngjin road.

Velipoja Beach – Shkodër

The northernmost beach of Albania, Velipoja is wide, sandy, and lively during summer. It’s near the Buna River estuary and only 30 minutes from Shkodër city.

Durrës Beach – Durrës

The largest and most visited beach in Albania, stretching for more than 10 km. It’s known for its golden sand and many beach bars and hotels. Durrës is just 40 minutes from Tirana, accessible by bus, car, or train.

Golem & Mali i Robit – Kavajë

Just south of Durrës, Golem offers a more relaxed seaside vibe, surrounded by pine forests and family resorts. Easy access via the main coastal road SH4.

Spille Beach – Kavajë

A calm, family-friendly beach known for its shallow waters and natural surroundings. Located between Golem and Divjakë, reachable by car.

Narta Lagoon & Zvernec Island – Vlorë

A magical spot near Vlorë combining a tranquil lagoon, wooden bridge, and the small Zvernec Island with its Byzantine monastery. Ideal for sunset views and photos.

Sazan Island – Vlorë

The largest island in Albania, once a military zone and now open to visitors. You can explore its hidden coves, caves, and crystal waters by taking a boat trip from Vlora port (usually 30–40 minutes).

Karaburun Peninsula – Vlorë

A wild and untouched peninsula between the Adriatic and Ionian Seas. Accessible only by boat from Vlorë, it offers secluded beaches such as Haxhi Ali Cave, Grama Bay, and Brisani Bay — some of the most beautiful in the country.

Grama Bay – Karaburun

A spectacular hidden bay with turquoise waters surrounded by cliffs marked with ancient Greek inscriptions. Reachable only by boat or a long hike from the Karaburun ridge — a paradise for adventurers.

Jalë Beach – Himarë

Gjipe Beach – Himarë

One of the most famous hidden beaches in Albania, located at the end of Gjipe Canyon. Reachable by foot (25-minute hike) from St. Theodor’s Monastery or by boat from Jale or Himarë. The mix of cliffs and clear sea makes it unforgettable.

Dhermi Beach – Himarë

A long, pebbly beach with vibrant nightlife and crystal-clear waters. Easily accessible by car via the coastal SH8 road from Vlora or Himarë.

Livadhi Beach – Himarë

Close to Himarë town, Livadhi offers a mix of comfort and nature with calm water, hotels, and camping areas. Great for swimming and relaxing.

Qeparo Beach – Himarë

A quiet coastal village with an authentic charm. The beach has both pebbly and sandy parts, and the old village on the hill above offers breathtaking views.

Borsh Beach – Himarë

The longest beach on the Albanian Riviera, stretching for about 7 km. Surrounded by olive groves and mountains, Borsh is ideal for those who love space, peace, and clear waters.

Lukovë Beach – Sarandë

A peaceful beach surrounded by greenery, with crystal waters and simple beach bars. It’s about 30 minutes from Sarandë, accessible by car.

Kakome Bay – Sarandë

A breathtaking hidden bay with turquoise water and green hills. The area was once a monastery site and is reachable only by boat from Sarandë or Himarë.

Krorezë Bay – Sarandë

Another remote paradise near Kakome, Krorezë offers untouched nature and clear waters. Best reached by boat or hiking path.

Bunec Beach – Sarandë

Known for its calmness and beautiful sunset views, Bunec is a small beach between Lukovë and Borsh, perfect for camping or quiet relaxation.

Tre Ishujt – Ksamil

Located just off the coast of Ksamil, these small islands are famous for their tropical look and shallow waters. You can rent a small boat or kayak to reach them from the main Ksamil Beach.

Mirror Beach (Pasqyra) – Ksamil

Named for its mirror-like reflection of the sea, this beach features white cliffs and clear blue water. Reachable by car from Sarandë (about 15 minutes).

Pulëbardha Beach – Ksamil

A quiet cove between Sarandë and Ksamil, ideal for snorkeling and swimming. Known for its fine white pebbles and transparent water.

Ksamil Main Beach – Ksamil

The gem of the Albanian Riviera, famous for its white sand, turquoise sea, and nearby islands. Restaurants and bars line the beach, and it’s easily reached from Sarandë (15 minutes by car or local bus).
